Network protocols
Zorp offers unique application-level protection, as well as virus- and spam filtering in the following traditional and encrypted protocols.
| Managed protocols | ||
| HTTP | SSL | POP3 |
| FINGER | WHOIS | NNTP |
| IMAP | TELNET | LPR |
| RADIUS | TFTP | SMTP |
| MIME | RSH | Oracle SQL/Net8 |
| LDAP | VOIP SIP | SSH |
| MS RPC | FTP | PLUG |

Every Zorp proxy is capable of decrypting SSL-encrypted connections and handle the encrypted traffic on the application level. Although technically Zorp can do this with every protocol, this is mainly useful with the following protocols:
| Managed secure protocols | ||
| HTTP | IMAP | POP3 |
| TELNET | LDAP | NNTP |
| SMTP | FTP | SOAP |
The Zorp Content Vectoring module can receive data from the following proxies. This means that Zorp can filter the following protocols for virus and spam.
