The public Bugzilla of syslog-ng Open Source Edition is available at https://bugzilla.balabit.com/
When you submit an error report, please include:

• the version number of syslog-ng you use
• the platform (operating system and processor type) you run syslog-ng on
• how have you installed syslog-ng (e.g., compiled from source, etc.)
• a detailed description of the problem and the environment it occurs
• other data that may help solving the problem, e.g., configuration snippet, strace output, etc.

If using pre-compiled binary packages, please use the bug tracking system where you obtained the binaries from. Many of these are linked at http://www.balabit.com/network-security/syslog-ng/opensource-logging-system/downloads/3rd_party
