BalaBit IT Security has established the Campus Program for the following goals:
The Campus Program consists of three main parts, giving students support to their graduate and the possibility to study the latest network technologies in theory and in practice.
The Zorp Scholarship - named after the flagship product of BalaBit - is awarded once a year to support individual R&D projects. The best proposal is awarded with 300 000 HUF, while two other students receive 100 000 HUF each. The award can be used to cover the expenses of travels to conference, and project-related devices and books.
Every year we cooperate with at least five graduating students in writing their diploma thesis, offering consulting and help.
The Apprentice Program provides students the opportunity to gather field experience - a useful addition to any CV. After graduation, the Apprentice Program may continue, and evolve into a full-time job.
Upon request, BalaBit's system engineers and developers hold presentations and seminar courses in Hungarian universities. If a university wishes to hold a course about advanced network gateway technologies, we gladly support the course with reference material, lecturer, and occasionally with classroom devices.
